Results: McNemars t-test assessed for changes in PTSD symptom severity and PTSD symptom clusters at the 3-month assessment. Repeated measures multivariate analysis of variance assessed for changes in PTSD symptoms, by DAISI treatment allocation. At the 3-month assessment, participants with PTSD reported significant reductions in PTSD symptoms (except intrusion) and a lower rate of PTSD, and responded better to integrated depression-alcohol misuse CBT than to the alcohol/depression single-focussed or brief interventions. Conclusion: Integrated depression and alcohol misuse CBT may be effective for PTSD symptoms, but intrusions may need to be addressed specifically.]]> Fri 25 Nov 2022 15:45:27 AEDT ]]> Reducing loneliness among people with substance use disorders: Feasibility of 'Groups for Belonging' https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:46548 Fri 25 Nov 2022 11:26:25 AEDT ]]> Methamphetamine use and technology-mediated psychosocial interventions: a mini-review https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:46529 Fri 25 Nov 2022 11:02:11 AEDT ]]> Tobacco treatment incorporating contingency management, nicotine replacement therapy, and behavioral counseling for pregnant women who use substances: a feasibility trial https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:51938 5 considered favorable). Discussion: This study demonstrated the feasibility and acceptability of a consumer-informed, non-face-to-face intensive tobacco treatment, highlighting the potential of remotely delivered technology-based CM to reduce the health impact of tobacco smoking in high-priority populations. The intervention demonstrates scale-up potential. Future studies should extend treatment into the postpartum period, utilizing new technologies to enhance CM delivery and improve counseling provision and partner support.
